Jazz Roots in Five Points

Immerse yourself in the rich
tapestry of jazz history as part of our neighborhood’s celebration of Black
History Month. Jazz Roots in Five Points serves as a tribute to
this enduring history, honoring the cultural contributions of the Black
community and its indelible impact on American history at-large.

The performances will take place
over two Saturdays from Noon-7 p.m. at various locations in Five Points,
including Spangalang Brewery, Cervantes Other Side, The Dorsey, The Lydian,
2201 Welton St., and the Blair-Caldwell African American Research Library.

Best of all, this is a FREE
EVENT, sponsored by the Five Points Business Improvement District. Join us in
the exploration of diverse art forms, music genres, literature, cuisine, and
traditions that have influenced and enriched our society.
