The field of counseling and working with substance use pulled me in like a strong magnetic force.

Throughout his life, Chris has encountered many individuals who have suffered from mental illness or substance use. As a result, it became a personal mission to aid individuals who have their daily lives affected by mental health, substances, or any other issues that can create stumbling blocks for a happy life.

Chris is a licensed addictions counselor with a master’s in addictions counseling. Chris currently sees all age ranges and areas of mental health. He works primarily with youth, adults, and families with substance use problems, as well as, developmental problems or cognitive delays that affect their behavior, social functioning, or daily living.

As a Colorado native Chris understands the beauty the great state has to offer. He also understands with beauty there can be an “ugly” side. With Colorado being a state with high substance use the ugly constantly presents itself and affects those living in the state. Chris specializes in addiction in a number of different areas. This also includes addictions with no formal diagnoses such as technology and performance enhancing drug dependency.  Chris works with clients from all backgrounds and accommodates to the diversity clients bring.

Christopher offers teletherapy appointments Mon-Thurs 8-3 and Saturdays 9-2.  He is able to accept Colorado Access, Denver Health and CCHA Medicaid, and Cigna insurance.  His self-pay rate is $100.
